With the Bundesliga making it’s highly anticipated return, the Official Bundesliga Fantasy game is something which can add to fans’ experience of the games.

Here’s a  look at some bargains, key players, and must-haves in the game.

Goalkeepers

Markus Schubert (1.0): Following the announcement that Alexander Nubel will be moving to Bayern at the end of the season, Schalke 04 head coach David Wagner had made his plans clear about Schubert being in goal for the rest of the season. A starting goalkeeper for a club like Schalke at just 1.0 is too good an option to turn down.

Florian Kastenmeier (1.0): USMNT and Fortuna Dusseldorf keeper Zack Steffen suffered a knee injury towards the end of April which was expected to keep him out for 4-6 weeks. Kastenmeier should be safe to start for the Initial set of games for Dusseldorf and just like Schubert, is too tempting to turn down given his price, investing in cheap goalkeepers gives you the money to get the big-hitters upfront.

Defenders

Achraf Hakimi (15.5): If you are an FPL player, you would know how important it has been to own Trent-Alexander Arnold this season. Hakimi is the Bundesliga version of Alexander-Arnold. The Bundesliga Fantasy points scoring system tends to highly reward attacking full-backs which makes Hakimi an absolute must-own in this game.

Christopher Lenz (2.7): A certain starter for a Union Berlin side with a solid defence, Lenz is another good pick. He can also grab the odd assist which is a great bonus, especially for such a cheap price.

Angelino (8.6): Angelino’s loan spell at Leipzig has been brilliant so far. After lack of first-team opportunities at Manchester City, the Spaniard has thrived under Julian Nagelsmann and possesses serious attacking threat which, when combined with Leipzig’s solid defence, makes him a great option.

Midfielders

Jadon Sancho (21.7): Not much needs to be said about why Sancho should be in your team. The young superstar has lit up the league this season and is someone whom you can rely on to deliver the goods.

Christopher Nkunku (13.5): Nkunku has had a fine breakout season so far under Nagelsmann and provides great value for money at his price. He is 3rd in the Bundesliga assists chart, behind only Thomas Muller and Jadon Sancho, which makes him a great pick.

Forwards

Robert Lewandowski (25): Some players are consistent and some are explosive, then there is Robert Lewandowski who is consistently explosive! Bayern’s Polish striker is one to build your squad around. The price tag might be hefty, but we know what he can do and he is worth every penny.

Timo Werner (20.2): Werner is another striker enjoying an incredible season. The 24-year-old will be chasing Lewandowski in the Bundesliga Golden Boot race, which could give him added motivation. The German international being on spot-kick duties for Die Roten Bullen makes him such an enticing option.

Erling Haaland (14.2): Haaland has taken the Bundesliga by storm since his arrival and there is no reason to believe he will slow down anytime soon. If he continues from where he left off before the break, the Norwegian teenage sensation could make a case for being the best value for money in the game.
