Just over 50 days following the conclusion of the 2022 Brasileirão season, football in Brazil is due to resume again in January with the start of the traditional state championships.

Over the coming months, Brazilian sides will battle it out with their fierce local rivals and neighbours to determine who will be kings of their state.
