Sergio Aguero’s Best Three Moments For Manchester City

Sergio Aguero’s Best Three Moments For Manchester City

Manchester City have won four Premier League titles in their previous ten seasons.

Their incredible success owes a great deal to the brilliance of Sergio Aguero who has been a consistent performer for them but, due to injuries, the 32-year-old has only been able to make three appearances this season

However, Pep Guardiola’s side are still capable of lifting the Premier League title, and if you are one of the firm believers that they will win, then this is a good opportunity to place your bets and you can play with Ladbrokes to get good value.

Aguero’s title-winning strike

This is regarded as one of the greatest moments of the Premier League era. On the final day of the 2011-12 season, City needed a victory against QPR to claim their league title in 44 years. However, the feat looked beyond them when they found themselves 2-1 down in stoppage time.

Edin Dzeko popped up the equalizer but Manchester United still looked the likeliest candidates to lift the title then came the moment which shocked the entire football world and plunged City fans into a state of ecstasy. With seconds remaining in the game, Aguero received Mario Balotelli’s pass and scored a brilliant goal to claim the coveted Premier League title.

Spectacular debut against Swansea

Aguero started firing for City from the very beginning. His debut against Swansea City in August 2011 was breathtaking as he delighted fans with his supreme talent.

The Argentine was featured as a substitute in the second half and he opened his account for the Cityzens within just nine minutes. He also contributed an assist before rounding off his debut with a thunderous strike from outside the box in injury time.

Goal in 6-1 win at Old Trafford

For the Sky Blues’ fans, nothing could be more pleasurable than registering an emphatic victory at the home of their biggest rivals. And in October 2011, Manchester City performed this feat by thrashing the Red Devils 6-1 at Old Trafford.

Aguero played his part in that memorable match at the stadium often nicknamed The Theatre of Dreams. It wasn’t so much the case for United that day, with Aguero scoring an easy goal from inside the box after Micah Richards’ good delivery.

With this victory, City went five points clear at the top of the Premier League table. And suddenly everyone at the Etihad started believing that they could end their title drought and ultimately were proved to be right.
